Founded in 1924 by William H. Peckham, Peckham Industries Inc. built its reputation as a highway contractor beginning with small jobs then later winning major state contracts. In 1968, Peckham Industries moved away from construction and aggressively into supplying highway building materials. Expansion through acquisition has been a way of life ever since, and in 2004, Peckham Industries acquired William E. Dailey Precast, LLC, adding to its strength in the construction industry. Today, Peckham customers are serviced by a network of hot mix asphalt plants, stone quarries, bulk asphalt terminals and liquid plants that stretch from Long Island up the Hudson Valley to Warren County, and thanks to their trust and satisfaction, Peckham Industries Inc. has become one of the largest material suppliers in the Hudson Valley.
